The reason for the season, for me, is Jesus, our Lord and Savior. It doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy decorating for Christmas. Tree trimming and fireplace mantle lights are part of it. I love the smells and magic of the season in decorating. DIY holiday spirit adds a bliss to my heart. I am content in the simple Christmas decorating. Pinterest is a great place to find creative people to show us their creative ideas and I am sharing a few of my favorites with you.
Natural elements to decor during the holiday season add a simple touch to any home. Dried orange garlands add style and a fun pop of color. They will make your house smell like citrus and only cost a few dollars to make! Here is a simple tutorial on how to make a dried orange garland from The Ginger Home.
Ashley at Modern Glam made these cute ombré bottle brush trees. I love bottle brush trees and she put a new spin on them. She found natural-colored bottle brush trees at Hobby Lobby that replicated the original Anthropologie version with it’s gold block base. A little paint was all that was needed to turn this into a very believable dup!
These DIY Christmas Ornaments are so cute! They look like trapped snowflakes and have a little bit of vintage feel. They also couldn’t be easier to make. Check out how at Little Yellow Wheelbarrow
Check out this easy cranberry and “snow” mason jar centerpiece from Tanya at Dans le Lakehouse! A simple, all natural, cranberry centerpiece for the dining room table this Christmas season.
When it’s Christmas season that means it’s time for fun diy’s! Rhonda at Hallstrom Home created a Yarn Tree DIY with Twinkle Lights, they are so fun and super easy. They add such a whimsical touch to your Christmas decor.
Brooke at Re-Fabbed made this extremely easy DIY Christmas Decorating for an adorable addition to her home. I never would have thought to use a gift box set from Walmart as decor in my home.
